Well upon inspection of the Basement I found that in the cage next to the computer tech cage was a portal to hell. I used my trust bolt cutters and gained access to the portal. Standing next to the huge vortex in the ground I looked over.

All that I could see was swirling winds of black smog, mixed with what I perceved as damned souls. The cries for help were almost unbearable. I took my jade buddha necklace out from under my shirt, kissed it, closed my eyes and took a leap of faith! Through out my decent I was being tempted by what I figure is the devil, so to counter attack his febal attempts I placed my head phones over my ears and blasted Cibo Matto's song Birthday Cake. Take my word for it kids that song can block out anything...! What felt like an eternity of falling was only something like 5 mins. Once down on the ground I placed a few markers so I could find my way out.

To ensure my safety I broke out my equipment. I loaded my .45 cal and my thompson sub machine gun. The only thing I needed to do now was find my way out of this very small dark room!

Well as some of you may know, my birthday is approaching. I remember days when I couldn't wait for it! Now its like ehhh, it seems as one gets older they don't want anything to do with the day they were brought into this world. Strange isn't it?! Its probably just me that feels this way.

Actually I am looking forward to Minados, its the first time ever I will be taking matters into my own hands to celebrate my birthday. And its gonna be really cool this time around because Mr. Mike S. (Did Not Want to attempt spelling my boy's name) and I are sharing out birthday. And we eat fo free! lol This time around however I am buying my own birthday gift. My friends and family are too poor , and I don't want anyone buying me anything anyway. Wow, how many "any-s" were in that sentence..

Well actually I think everyone in the US should put a dollar in and get me a PSP. HAHAHAH yeah right.. lol I am however getting myself the Limited Edition Doom 3 for myself. Im so good to myself.. hahahah Yeah it comes out on MONDAY!! I already put something like 20 bucks down on it, so I am so straight. Enough of feeling sorry for myself.

I did meet some really cool people in the past month or so. I got hooked up with the people over at GameMilitia. Its a new website/ezine for game review. They hope to eventually become a full blown Magazine. And hopefully I'll be writing for them. Oh and even bigger news, I am a nationally reconized poet now! I recieved the letter in the mail yesterday. I will be published in a book aswell. I can't wait to see it!

Wow... what a week, of strange events. Well not really a week of strange events just one day. Monday was great because I picked up my special edition of Doom 3 for XBOX. That was awesome! But yeah getting back to my original point. Chico took me out yesterday for my birthday. We went to Uno's pizzeria, and ate like pigs! LOL

Chico of course had the waitress have everyone come over and sing happy birthday to me. Dennis took great satisfaction in this because a few years ago, I told our waiter at applebees that it was his bday even though it wasn't. Dennis ended up getting embarrased and ran out of the restaurant! The waiter actually chased after him.. lol Well when they started singing dennis was in the bath room but came out just in time. He walked up behind them and was clapping and jumping up and down.

Well After I ate my ice cream, I decided to go have a cancer stick. So when the boys came out, chico couldn't find his keys! So we found them locked in his car. We called around and the only person who could come out and get us was Tennesse aka Crusty aka Justin Credible! But he as a work truck so only chico and I could fit in the cab. Dennis had to sit in the bed of the truck! Crusty was going crazy because he didn't want to get pulled over by the police. Well Chico and I got him onto back roads and ended up taking portion road, while we made Dennis lay down! When we finally got home I took chico home to get his keys.

For length purposes I will skip ahead a little bit. On the way home from uno's chico sped past me. I got stuck behind two, flatbed trucks. One with a hyundai and one was empty. The empty flatbed sped away and I decided to get ahead of the other truck. As I attempted to get ahead of the truck he sped up and wouldn't let me get past. So I sped up again, and inturn he did the same. Finally he hit a HUGE pot hole in the ground, not a usual pot hole. It was more of a hole in the pavement so that they could work on pipes.

So when he hit this hole, the car on the back of the truck jumped a couple of times and finally broke the chains holding the car down. Just then the damn car fell off the rear of the truck!!!!! As god as my witness I swear this happened!! I attempted to get Chico's attention, because he wasn't to far off. But when I flashed my brights at him he sped up and vanished out of my sight. So I bounced from the scene, and didn't look back. I was so out of my mind because this kind of shit only happens in bad movies. Now further down the road across from Valero Gas , a HUGE truck was pulled over with at least 50 cops , cop cars and huge trucks. The police were searching the truck.. Let me tell ya kids, what an adventure that was!!!

Well a fitting end to a fugged up week.. Today I get to work and no more than 15 20 mins late someone came in and told me my car was on fire in the parking lot. 'Nuff said. Put it this way my entire car is worth nothing now..... It is just a big charred piece of metal. But now what do i do?!?!? Im fucked.. yeah thats right Im fucked!! Catch ya later.. Happy Birthday to me!

I must say Im on the top of the world lately. Granted most of my problems are still here and very stressing, but still Ive been in such a great mood. I figure, my car buring was the catalyst. I look at it as the fire burned away all the negative energy, I feel as though all that weight that was on my shoulders has been lifted or burned away.

No I haven't gone off the deep end, Im just a very spiritual person, I always have been. Im just embracing it now, Ive done a lot of wrongs in my life, and the past year Ive come to realize it. But instead of standing on the side lines watching, Im taking my life back, nay my soul back!

Im still learning though, since my engine was running on hate for so long its hard to make it run on love... savvy? But in fact everyday gets easier and easier.. In turn the days get better and better!! Ok Im done preaching for now.. I must say CONGRATS TO MY BOY BRUCE and My GIRL MARTINA!!! Bruce is gonna be a daddy!

Okay Okay, Ive had enough of the numa numa dance, this morning it came on WBLI, I was like huh?! Its now reached the point where I couldn't take it anymore, But this made me feel so much better.. DUTIES AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS
INTRODUCTION
The success of any military unit ultimately rests on the actions of the private soldier. These actions are direct reflections of his state of training, morale, and motivation to do the job. From time immemorial, the NCO has been the person most responsible for training and motivating the Private. He does this through being trained and motivated himself and passing this on to his men through continual communication. These communication channels stay open only so long as the NCO has the respect of the officers over him and the men in his charge. He gains this respect by showing respect to his superiors and subordinates equally and by presenting a positive attitude especially in the most trying times.

PURPOSE
The purpose of this article is to familiarize the Non-Commissioned Officers (Sergeants, Corporals, and those acting in these capacities) on the duties and obligations inherent in these positions. This will allow you to function competently on and off the field and fulfill your functions of communicating with, training, and motivating your men. These instructions are based on both 20th century Army and reenacting experience. This is certainly not the "final word," but does represent the policies, spoken and unspoken, that the 14th brooklyn Infantry Regiment upholds. These guidelines are based on common sense, courtesy, and the enjoyment of all, and THEY WORK!
